Welcome to the website of Newbridge School.

We are a community special school catering for up to 140 children and young people between the ages of two and nineteen years who have a complex learning difficulty, often accompanied by additional special educational needs, which may include;
  • Physical disabilities
  • Sensory impairments
  • Autistic Spectrum disorders
  • Challenging behaviour
  • Medical needs
We have two school campuses, which are within one mile of each other.
Gresham Drive Campus is for pupils in Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
and
Barley Lane Campus for students in Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and 16-19.
Pupils transfer from Gresham Drive to Barley Lane Campus at the end of Key Stage 2 and are supported to do this through a well-planned transition programme.
We also manage a range of  special educational needs services, which provide support and advice throughout the London Borough of Redbridge.
We hope you enjoy looking at the website, please feel free to contact us if you would like to find out more about our work or request paper copies of some of the information.

We are currently consulting regarding the proposal that we form our own Multi Academy Trust from September 2017 and the DFE have agreed to us moving to the next stage of the development of this which is a very exciting time for us all.
