Welcome to the website of Newbridge School.

We are a split site special school catering for up to 140 children and young people between the ages of two and nineteen years who have a complex learning difficulty, often accompanied by additional special educational needs, which may include;
  • Physical disabilities
  • Sensory impairments
  • Autistic Spectrum disorders
  • Challenging behaviour
  • Medical needs
We are part of the Astrum Multi Academy Trust with  school sites, which are within one mile of each other.
Gresham Drive -Lower School  is for pupils in Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Barley Lane Upper School  for students in Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and 16-19.
Pupils transfer from Gresham Drive to Barley Lane Campus at the end of Key Stage 2 and are supported to do this through a well-planned transition programme.
We also manage a range of  special educational needs services, which provide support and advice throughout the London Borough of Redbridge.
We hope you enjoy looking at the website, please feel free to contact us if you would like to find out more about our work or request paper copies of some of the information.

We successfully converted on 1st August 2017 to be the Astrum Multi Academy Trust
